Balloon Powered Car Design Technology

Student Challenge: Build a Balloon-Powered Car! Challenge your students to become a Design Squad Top Builder by designing a balloon-powered car! Students can use all kinds of materials for their baloon car's body, axles, and wheels. But the jet must include a balloon! Watch the video below to see Nate and his friends design their balloon cars. How far (and fast!) will your student's cars be able to go? Students can enter Design Squad's Top Builder: Balloon Car Challenge by logging into our website and submitting a photo of their car using the form at the bottom of this link on or before March 13, 2013. We'll highlight some of the most creative balloon cars and then students can vote for their favorite! The builder with the most votes will earn a special sticker he/she can use on theDesign Squad website.
