  1. I like how this system will help organize papers as they are being turned in to help save the time I usually spend sorting things into piles. Since the pdf also addressed no name papers, I thought I'd share a quick tip I found online...You can keep a highlighter by your finished bins, envelopes, etc. and tell students to highlight their name before turning it in. If they go to use the highlighter and realize they haven't written their name, they can fix the problem right away. For whatever reason, I find that students love highlighters, so maybe it will work!

  2. I also love this idea. In my fifth grade classroom I assign 2 students to be the homework checkers each week. I have a tray for students to pass homework in in the morning and a checklist of each name with a place to write in the assignment. The homework checkers check off each assignment and even track down the no-names, they love the responsibility and it makes it so much easier for me!
