  2. The learning centers that you are proposing we make will be so helpful. We are open to personalize what we make and that will guarantee that we will use them in the Fall as well as for years to come. Lois T.

Anytime I can add music to my teaching I do! I love that these songs are sung to familiar tunes. The geometry song is sung to "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes," which I am sure all of my second graders are familiar with. This will help enhance their understanding of parallel and perpendicular lines and will aid in quicker recall of this information. Having the words to download and post is really helpful for students as well. This is one to incorporate into your teaching!

  4. I love using songs as I teach! I hope to find some new ones for the lower level. I use math Macarena to skip count, and calendar songs.

I am not a good singer but I like using songs to help kids learn. I especially like the Order of Operations song. I use the Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally but I have never used it as a song. Looking forward to trying it with my class next year. I also like the Data Song.
